VoxTap is designed with privacy as a core principle. All voice processing happens locally on your Mac. We do not collect, transmit, or store your voice data.

Data We Do Not Collect

  • Voice recordings or audio data
  • Transcribed text content
  • Keystrokes or screen content
  • Personal files or documents

Data We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the service:

  • License activation: A machine identifier is sent to our server to validate your license. This identifier cannot be used to identify you personally.
  • Purchase information: Payment is processed by Stripe. We receive your email address and payment confirmation but never see your full payment details.
  • Crash reports: If the app crashes, an anonymous crash report may be sent to help us improve stability. These contain no personal or voice data.

Local Processing

VoxTap uses on-device machine learning models to convert speech to text. Your voice never leaves your Mac. The app works fully offline after the initial download and license activation.

Third-Party Services

Data Retention

We retain your email address and license information for as long as your license is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

VoxTap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the app.
